CPG offers competitive and efficient bunkering services in Maputo and Nacala. With our own storage and multiple delivery barges we can accommodate and supply all major grades of marine fuels both at anchorage and at berth.

Our team have vast experience in bunker delivery operations, having delivered over 600.000 tons of fuels through ship to ship transfer operations, operating in Nacala since 2018.

Our Services & Products

We currently supply bunkers by barge in both Maputo and Nacala, all of our barges have multiple segregations which allow for the delivery of all major grades of marine fuel.

BUNKERING

We own CPG Iska, a 1.380 DWT in-port bunkering barge delivering HFO and MGO within Nacala port jurisdiction, CPG Zoe, a 3.600 DWT double hull Oil Tanker based out of Nacala, MT Marine Excellence, a 599 DWT Bunkering Tanker operating in the port of Nacala and CPG Alix, a 3.600 DWT double hull Oil Tanker with the capacity to deliver 2 grades of marine fuel operating out of Maputo port.

MARINE LUBRICANTS & FRESH WATER

All of our bunker barges have the capability to also deliver lubricants and fresh water along with bunkers.

CPG Bunkering fuels are in accordance with ISO 8217:2017/2010 and we use only internationally certified entities for quality and quantity reporting.

Our fuels are competitively sourced and our vessels are equipped with certified hoses and fenders and calibrated flow meters, ensuring safety, precision and operational efficiency.

Bunkering in Maputo

The Port of Maputo is the biggest in Mozambique, acting as a major door to hinterland countries such as South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana an Eswatini. This port is situated at Latitude 25º 58′ S and Longitude 32º 33′ E. With over 15 berths across approximately 4,000m of quay side, Maputo port terminals handle several types of bulk and general cargo.

Bunkering operations in Maputo can be undertaken at berth while working cargo or at safe anchorage in the surroundings of Buoy 6. The dedicated bunkering area at anchorage is well protected from oceanic swell.

Bunkering in Nacala

Nacala Bay is one of the finest natural deep-water harbours in Africa. Located the easternmost tip of the Mozambique Channel - Latitude 14º 32′ S and Longitude 40º 40′ E - Nacala bay is uniquely positioned to serve passing vessels with bunker only calls .

While bunkering at berth is possible in some of the terminals, the dedicated bunkering area is located in the outer anchorage around the coordinates 14º 22′ S and Longitude 40º 42′ E. The outer anchorage presents reduced oceanic swell throughout the whole year and has depths over 40 meters.

DENIZ SULTAN

MT Deniz Sultan is a 112.000 DWT Aframax Tanker (OBO) currently moored in Nacala inner anchorage. She has 7 tanks and 3 double valve segregations and is presently storing HFO and MGO. The vessel is equipped with certified fenders and hoses for STS operations and has recently been vetted and cleared for STS operations by major tanker operators.

CPG ISKA

CPG Iska is 1.350 DWT in-port bunkering barge with capacity to deliver 2 grades within the port limits of Nacala. With 12 tanks and 2 segregations, CPG Iska is currently divided in 700 cbm clean product and 700 cbm dirty product. She is equipped with all fenders, hoses and flowmeters required for bunkering operations.

CPG Zoe is a 3.600 DWT double hull Oil Tanker with capacity to deliver 2 grades of marine fuel. CPG Zoe is currently operating out of Nacala port, as well as offshore in the Mozambican channel. With 3.496 cbm capacity divided between 2 segregations, she is a vessel with shallow draught but capable for offshore bunkering.

MT MARINE EXCELLENCE

MT Marine Excellence is a 599 DWT Bunkering Tanker operating in the port of Nacala. The vessel has the capacity to deliver up to 628 cbm of product. The vessel is BV Classed, and is fully equipped with fenders, hoses and Flowmeters necessary for safe bunkering.
